Dr Joe and Sharron Putman The Nimule, Sudan Clinic construction project in partnership with FAME Ministries is almost complete and has already been the center of vision care projects. Joe visited the Nimule site last year, and he was excited at the possibilities. He and Sharron have asked to take over the stewardship of the Nimule vision programs. Working in cooperation with government officials and the regional hospital operated by the UK medical NGO, Merlin, the clinic is being equipped to perform professional quality Optometric services. We have already hired a Kenyan national, Martin Wanyama, to relocate to Sudan as our optometric technician. Christian Blind Missions has expressed an interest in partnering with us to perform cataract surgeries.
